With temperatures starting to climb, although be wary of the sudden cold snap, now is the perfect time to get your garden ready for 2021. Here are a few suggestions:
Protect delicate plants from frosts. move indoors or to the greenhouse.
Weed and tidy flower beds.
Plant spring bulbs.
Tidy and prepare the green house for spring planting.
Collect leaves and wind fall.
Cut back trees and shrubs before the sap begins to rise; choose a suitable day free from frosts.
Keep the plants in the greenhouse watered.
Start to compost plants that have completed their growing season, such as tomatoes and sweet peas.
Think about grabbing yourself a bargain at the local garden centre, so look out for end of season sales.
